Jamaica has a serious crime problem.
We know that crime, especially towards our women and girls, thrives in dark places.
We call on the relevant authorities (The KSAC, JPS, and others) to ensure that the streets of South St. Andrews are adequately lighted by fixing the broken streetlights and installing others where there is a need. This will reduce crime in the constituency and enable our women, girls, children and residents in general to go to and from their homes without fear of being attacked.
